This operator terminal can act as a “bus master” and provides CANopen and serial RS232/ 485 interfaces for communication with various target devices.
- Back lit alpha-numeric LCD display with 4 lines, 16 characters each
- Dimensions 144 x 144 x 85 mm
- Power supply 18 – 35 VDC
- The unit is master capable and can communicate just by itself and without any PLC, PC or superior intelligence, via CAN or serial interface
- Also mixed and simultanous operation is possible, where some of the target units may use CAN communication and others may use serial communication
- Easy editing of menu texts and structures, messages and register code assignments, by means of PC designer software. All data is stored in a 1 Mbyte Flash Eprom
- Programmable key functions for direct execution of commands e.g Start/ Stop etc. Every command is accompanied by a programmable text
- 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs provide supplementary control facilities
- The unit can operate with all mks units and other devices using the CANopen standard protocol or the serial
- Customer-specific protocols are available on request

- Simple and low-cost module for CAN network applications
- 8 digital I/O lines, where 4 lines are always configured as inputs and the other 4 can be configured as inputs or outputs by DIL switch setting
- Signal changes on input lines are treated as interrupts, resulting in an immediate telegram to the network
- All logical states of the I/O lines are continuously displayed by front LED’s
- This unit can be set up for operation on the parameter channel (SDO, service data object) as well as on the process data channel (PDO) of the CAN bus
- All potentials are fully separated one to each other (inputs, outputs, power supply and bus lines)

- Universal gateway for conversion of parallel data (BCD or binary or Gray coded) to CANopen or serial RS485 network format
- Up to 256 data words or digital informations (20 bits) can be transmitted to a number of 256 destinations. The target can be selected by means of an 8 bit address word.
- Targets, codes and identifyers can be entered by PC with Windows operator software and the unit stores all instructions in a Flash Eprom
- Four PLC compatible digital outputs provide information about successful transmission and acceptance, or indicate an error code.

- Closed 19‘‘ steel cassette for rack mounting and for mounting on DIN rails
